Hi all and welcome back after this long break.
Back on the first day of Summer 21/06 to talk about the best way to protect your skin during this season.
Already wore my tan (3 days at the pool ) which made me realize how important it is to protect your skin under the UV rays of summer sun which can cause a real damage in as little as 10 to 15 min. this exposure if not protected and goes for long time can lead to various forms of skin cancer.
So let's do our preparations first before getting exposed to the sun and be careful as well in choosing the products we are using and the healthy habits we follow
Below some nice tips for us:
Avoid exposure to the sun between 12 pm. and 2 pm.: This is when the sun is most intense and produces the greatest chance of sunburn. Use protective sunscreens.
Use sunscreen when outdoors: Higher SPF numbers indicate increased protection. No less then SPF 30 is required during and to be applied every 2 hours.
Wear sunglasses with UVA and UVB protection: Proper, protective sunglasses help prevent damage to the sensitive skin around your eyes.
Choose the right head gear: Wear a Wide-Brim hat to protect your face. A baseball hat wont protect you but if you are choosing it don’t forget to apply sunscreen to your neck and ears.
Be aware of medications that increase your sensitivity to the sun: Some antibiotics and over-the-counter medications can make you more sensitive to sunlight. and some oral diabetic medications.
Some Melon Summer time : Cantaloupe is the melon of choice for a beautiful summer skin. According to famous dermatologists its is naturally rich in antioxidants and delivers a unique hydration to the skin resulting in a radiant complexion.
Dont forget your lips : INDEED your lips need sunscreen too since the sun can be extremely drying. So keep them soft and smooth uring a rich lip balm with SPF 15 to 30.
Cool off with some Mist : keep a bottle of mist in your cooler. & you ll love using once at the beach. Pure nurture facial water is rich with antioxidants and nutrients that will soothe and hydrate your skin.
Dont forget your Hands : Be sure to use sunblock daily for the thin skin in ur hands that wrinkles and pigments easily. Go SPF 30 cream sheilds from UVA/UVB rays.
And Last EAT your SPF : REALLY ! oh yeah. Vitamine C and E is your source of the SPF include the Berries , citrus, tomatoas and Vitamine E- rich nuts to your daily meals.
